Description: The North Commuter Parkway Bridge has had a substantial impact on Saskatoon, providing an additional crossing at the north end of the city. Prairie Crane assisted with hoisting throughout the construction, from lifting and flipping girders to engineered lifts on site for headframes and lookouts, with a range of equipment used safely at each stage.
Once an iconic crossing in the City of Bridges, the Victoria Bridge was deemed unsafe and rebuilt. Prairie Crane's hoisting and rigging expertise was applied to difficult lifts there, including flipping panels for the bridge deck and hoisting a temporary bridge to the work site berm. Working within a short distance of the river made safety the priority, and each lift was planned and executed accordingly.
